They say we're paid protestors. I've been protesting since I was 16 and I haven't seen a dime.
They say protests don't do anything. Tell that to activists who ended the war in Vietnam. Tell that the Montgomery Bus Boycotters. Am I comparing myself to those heroes? Of course not, but they are the ones who inspire me!
Anyone who has taken to the streets, knows what it's like to take back the streets. You remind yourself that this is our country, no one tells us where to go and what to do.

When Trump Sent in the National Guard
I faced them down
Shortly after this picture was taken, I was pushed into traffic with riot shields, tear-gassed, shot with a less-lethal and clubbed with a nightstick
